Christians of Baloki, District Kasur have been forced to remove a cross from their church which is under construction.

According to reports, the Christian was living in a village where Muslims are in the majority.

The church spire was quiet high, even equal to the minaret of the local mosque, which somehow offended local Muslims and they asked the church to lower it.

The Christians reluctantly removed the cross, but are disappointed and now feel the building does not look like a church.

They say despite the demand being again the constitution, they agreed to it for the safety and protection of the community and to safeguard against the banning of church and prayer services.

They will hang the cross on a wall instead.
