A Pakistani Muslim leader has said he will “cut the tongue and eyes of those who want to amend the blasphemy law.

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) provincial chief Amir Mushtaq Ahmad Khan distanced himself from KP CM Pervez Khattak over his statement in the Mashal Khan murder case.

He also said that until the investigation is complete Mashal should not be called a martyr or a blasphemer, and that no one has the right to take the law into their own hands.
Khan said no one should play with public sentiments over the blasphemy law.
