Appeal
An appeal for donations for victims of the Pakistani floods
Across Pakistan, villages have been swept away and millions left homeless by the worst floods to hit the country in 80 years. At least 1,600 people have been killed but the final death toll may be far higher as the flood waters have destroyed transport and communication networks, leaving many communities stranded. Aid is beginning to trickle through but Christians, being marginalised and discriminated against, face additional challenges in getting hold of the basic necessities they need to survive this catastrophe. We urgently appeal to you to donate to CLAAS today so that we can support our Christian partners in Pakistan as they bring aid to those in need. Even a small gift will make a huge difference to someone without a home or hope, but if you feel that even a small gift is beyond your means, please give what you can in prayers. Pray that our partners will get the aid to those who need it and that our brothers and sisters find their hope and strength in God at this difficult time.
